Acceptable Use Policy

Kenaura is built to help organisations understand what is said about brands in public. This policy sets out the uses that are not allowed, to protect customers, platforms and the people behind the mentions.

Intended use

Kenaura is for monitoring brands, products, organisations, campaigns and competitors. Typical uses include tracking reputation, catching customer experience issues, benchmarking against competitors and reporting on brand health.

Prohibited uses

  • Tracking, profiling or surveilling private individuals rather than brands or organisations
  • Building profiles of people based on sensitive characteristics such as religion, health, ethnicity or sexual orientation
  • Harassing, targeting or retaliating against people who post reviews or comments
  • Using mention data to identify anonymous authors
  • Reselling or redistributing raw mention data outside your organisation or your agency clients
  • Using the service in breach of any law or the terms of the source platforms

Protecting the platform

  • Do not attempt to access workspaces, data or systems you are not authorised to use
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission
  • Do not overload the service or interfere with other customers' use of it
  • Do not share login credentials or let others use your account

Agencies and consultants

Agencies may monitor brands on behalf of clients who have engaged them to do so. Each client workspace should be used only for that client's brands and competitors.

Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been breached, we may limit features, suspend access or close the account, depending on the severity. Where possible we will contact you first. Terms for suspension are in the Terms of Service.
